On June 21, 2018, Marks the First Installation of GeneXpert in a Private Hospital.

The GeneXpert VI-2 was installed in Muscat Private Hospital Laboratory for testing different test assay. This test were Xpert CT/NG, Xpert HPV, Xpert Flu, Xpert Xpress Flu/RSV, Xpert MRSA, and Xpert C. Difficile BT.

After the Installation, the Xpert Test Training was conducted by Tatiana Shestakova, AHS product Specialist/Sales Manager.

On August 06, 2018, a CME event was held in Muscat Private Hospital to introduce GeneXpert with the Doctors and Hospital Staff. Cepheid Application and Training Manager, Mr. Ahmed Madian, was the speaker of the event.
